Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the Pickwick Hotel in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, a two story, L shaped building with a wrap around porch and second story balcony. Trees on the lawn partially obscure the view of the hotel. A wooden pole fence lines the front of the hotel. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. H. J Veith in New Orleans, Louisiana. The card is postmarked Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, July 28, 1909 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription on the left side of the card reads "Fine over here. H [and] T"
