In this handwritten letter, postmarked March 29, 1928, Robert B. Ray writes to his fiancé, Denise Beyt (Ray) and tells her how busy he's been at work and expects to continue to be busy while covering for Dr. Lapsley, so much so, that he's about decided to stay and set up practice in Kosciusko. He goes on to say how much he appreciates the number of letters he's received from her and asks her to keep it up. An envelope with a Kosciusko, Mississippi postmark and a red, two cent postage stamp is included.

He goes on to express his love and loyalty to her and questions her feelings towards him and explains his jealousy issue. He continues by reminding he to send the medical supplies he requested and updates her on his mother's letters from his brother. An envelope with a Kosciusko, Mississippi postmark and two, green postage stamps is included.

In this handwritten partial letter, Robert B. Ray writes from Kosciusko, Mississippi to his eventual wife, Denise Beyt where she lived in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this last page of a letter, Ray encourages Beyt to write more often. The letter is written on Dr. R. B. Ray letterhead. An envelope addressed to Beyt is postmarked May, 1928 and includes a blue special delivery postage stamp and a red, two cent George Washington postage stamp.

In this handwritten letter, dated November 3, 1940, Emmett B. Ray writes to his parents, Annie Webb and Emmett L. Ray asking them to send him some quilts and a pillow to camp. He goes on to compliment the officers he's working with in Camp Beauregard, Louisiana and describes the medical ward he's in charge of. He describes his duties and explains that the troops are National Guardsman from Michigan and Wisconsin. The letter is written on Dr. Emmett Ray Physician and Surgeon letterhead stationary and an envelope postmarked Alexandria, Louisiana and bears a purple, three cent postage stamp.

In this letter, dated February 11, 1927, the Hanchett Bond Co. serves as a notice to the administration of Kosciusko Bank that a bond held by them is being called for payment and will no longer draw interest after March 6.
