  In this typed copy of letter, transcribed by Myrtis S. Wineman and noted as received on November 2, 1959, Estelle Guice Graves Rogers writes to Myrtis S. Wineman to express her happiness at having received a letter from Wineman and apologize for taking so long to respond. She goes on to discuss the Guice family tree that Wineman sent her, tell her about having met another Christopher Guice descendant while she was in Mississippi, and share some news she'd learned while visiting the Flemmings in Vicksburg. She continues the letter by discussing information she'd researched on the Guice family line and within those items, Wineman hand wrote notes and questions of things to further research.

  In this letter, dated March 13, 1959, John D. Seal of Everett Waddy Company, Inc., writes to Myrtis S. Wineman to let her know why the maps she ordered were delayed and let her know that they have been sent. He goes on to say that they are unable to obtain a map of Virginia during the Revolutionary War. The letter is typed on Everett Waddey Company, Incorporated letterhead that includes an illustration of a multi-storied building.

  In this letter, dated February 9, 1959, T. H. Spence, executive director of the Historical Foundation of the Presbyterian and Reformed Churches in North Carolina, writes to Myrtis S. Wineman to let her know that he was unable to find any record of William Williams among the ministers of the Presbyterian Church during colonial days. The letter is written on Historical Foundation of the Presbyterian and Reformed Churches letterhead that includes an illustration of a brick building in the upper left corner. Wineman wrote "Presbyterian Historical Foundation Montreat" in the top margin of the page.

  In this letter, dated August 19, 1959, Gordon Wells writes to Myrtis S. Wineman to thank her for the Guice family tree she sent to him. He goes on to share some of the family lines he has information on and the research he's done and offers to send her copies of what he has. A note written by Myrtis Wineman reminds her to "Tell him of other trees developed from Amanda's Tree and enlarged."

  In this letter, dated February 20, 1959, Mildred White writes to Myrtis S. Wineman to assure her that she is working on the family tree that Wineman requested. She tells her about John Edwin Purcells book, "Lumber River Scots" and describes her visit with Purcells wife and sister after he passed.
