This deed, dated March 28, 1829, sells and transfers a parcel of land in the Towns of Charleston and Waterly in Washington County, Rhode Island owned by Samuel Stanton to Terry Healy for the sum of five hundred and ninety dollars. The deed describes the parcel of land sold and forfeits any rights that Sarah Stanton, Samuel Stanton had over the land. The deed is signed by Thomas Hoxie, Samuel Stanton, and Sarah Stanton and witnessed by Stephen Stanton. The deed was recorded in to the Wavery 16th Book of Records for land Evidence on pages 414 and 415 on April 16, 1829 by the town clerk, Stephen Wilcox.

Land Deed, Washington County, Rhode Island, Clark Healy and Jonathan Healy to Percy Healy, January 19, 1828
This deed, dated January 19, 1828, is a land deed for a parcel of land in Charlestown, Rhode Island sold to Percy Healy by Clark and Jonathan Healy. The deed describes the location of the land sold and was "signed sealed and delivered pin person of" Clark Healy and Jonathan Healy, Witnessed by Robert Percy and William T. Browning. The deed was received by the Charlestown clerk's office on January 19, 1828 and was recorded in the 6th Book of Land Evidence in Charlestown on page 176 on January 26, 1928 by the town clerk, Samuel Stanton. The pages have some light tearing on the edges.

Lamon is shown wearing what appears to be a dark military uniform with a white stripe on the seam along the pants' leg, white cuffs, and shoulder boards. He is seated with one leg crossed over the other and his hands elbows resting on the arms of the chair. The photograph appears to have a crackled affect over the image. A typed caption along the right edge reads "Early photo of Ward Hill Lamon the law partner and body guard of Abraham Lincoln *1850 to 1865. This was about when he first went to Washington, as body guard to Lincoln."

A typed caption on the bottom right corner of the photograph reads "Ward Hill Lamon--Born 1828: Died 1893. Taken by Brady, 1828. Was Lincoln's Law partner in the 1850's in Danville and was Lincoln's Bodyguard 1860-1865.

Bond for Probate, Perry Healy to Anna Burdick, March 20, 1829
This bond for probate of land, dated March 20, 1827, agrees that Terry Healy will pay the Washington County Probate court one hundred and fifty dollars with the condition that Healy will pay Anna Burdick, Ephraim Burdick's widow, three dollars and eighty cents every year during the rest of her natural life. The bond is signed by Terry Healy and witnessed by Joseph Stanton and Samuel Stanton. Receipts for payments made in 1828 and 1829 are included with the document. The bond was received in the Charlestown clerks' office on March 20, 1827.

Land Deed, Westerly, Rhode Island, from James Burdick to Perry Healy, March 20, 1827
This deed, dated March 20, 1827, is a land deed for a twenty-five acre parcel of land in Westerly, Rhode Island sold to Terry Healy by James Burdick for the sum of one hundred and ninety dollars. The deed describes the location of the land sold and is signed by James Burdick, Anna Burdick, and Prudence Burdick by their marks and witnessed by Hoxie Terry and Samuel Stanton. The deed was received by the Westerly town clerk, Stephen Wilcox, Jr. on March 23, 1827 and was recorded in the Westerly 16th Book of Records of the Land Evidence. The paper has some tearing along the bottom edges.

Mortgage Deed, Washington County, Rhode Island, Stephen Stanton to Edward Wilcox and Thomas Hoxie, July 12, 1824
This document, dated July 12, 1824, is a mortgage deed between Stephen Stanton, Thomas Hoxie and Edward Wilcox for the sale of a tract of land in Washington County, Rhode Island. Stanton agrees to return payment of a loan in the sum of five hundred and ninety dollars (one hundred and nineteen dollars from Hoxie and three hundred and twenty-four dollars from Wilcox) to be paid on demand. The deed is signed by Stephen Stanton and witnessed by Daniel Stanton and Samuel Stanton. The deed was recorded in Westerly 12th Book of Records for land evidence by the town clerk, Watney James Master and recorded in Charlestown in June 1825 by the town clerk Samuel Stanton. A receipt for payment in full is attached to the deed.

Indenture Apprenticeship Contract, Peter Crandal to Perry Healy, February 9, 1824
This document, dated February 9, 1824, is an indenture apprenticeship contract between Peter Crandal and Perry Healy in which Crandal agrees to bond himself to Healy to learn farming until July 12, 1830 at which time he agrees to serve the Healy family under certain terms and conditions. The contract is signed by Peter Crandal via his mark and Perry Healy and was witnessed by James B. Adams and Thomas Austins. The paper is damaged along some edges and there are ink smudges over several words.

Deed, Robert Burdick Land Sale to Simeon Adams, Jr. , February 11, 1822
This handwritten deed, dated February 11, 1822, wherein Robert Burdick has sold a plot of land in Washington County, Rhode Island to Simeon Adam for one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. The deed describes the land purchased and is signed by Robert and Sarah Burdick. Phebe Burdick and Samuel Stanton signed as witnesses. The second page includes the statement of witness by Samuel Stanton, Justice of the Peace. A record of the sale is noted by Samuel Stanton on February 11, 1822 on the back of the deed and notes that the deed was filed in the town clerk's office in at 5 o'clock pm.
